    Shirrell Moore McNeill, preacher, teacher, author and playwright, is an extension of the Master Craftsman. “Every opportunity God has blessed me with has been designed to help me to teach and preach reconciliation and restoration,” she testifies. “This is not what I do. It is who I am in Christ.” This is her anointing as His earthen vessel, His new creation.

    Reverend McNeill graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Greensboro, North Carolina with a B.S. Degree in Biology. She also earned an M.S. Degree in Adult Continuing Education for the University of Maryland (College Park). She attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary for two years, pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counseling Ministry.

    Her twenty year professional career has focused on training, leadership development, organizational development and executive coaching. Her professional affiliations include: GlaxoSmithKline (Director, Organizational Development); the city of Chesapeake, Virginia (Personnel Administrator – Training); and US Department of the Navy (Education Specialist).

    Reverend McNeill is a member of The River Church in Durham, NC and currently serves as Altar Minister and leaders of The River Food Bank Ministry with her husband, Rev. Joe McNeill. 

    She is the wife of Reverend Joe Nathan McNeill and the mother of two adult children, Anthony (Tony) and Kelly.
